I found Bart's on an app I use for persons who are gluten-free. They have an everything bagel that you can then have for different sandwiches. I ordered a Bacon egg and cheese on an the everything gluten-free bagel. That is one of the best gluten-free bagels I've had. I enjoyed the sandwich. There is only outdoor seating. I don't know what they do in the colder months. Guess I will find out when I return. Staff is friendly and conversational.

This was my last hope for finding a decent bagel outside of New York City. Yet again, I'm terribly disappointed. The bagel, while crispy, was so dense you could barely bite through it. It wasn't anywhere near the size you get in New York, and the extra cream cheese I paid for was the thinnest schmear I've ever seen. I've gotten more cream cheese at a dunkin donuts. What little that was there of the long hot cream cheese was flavorless. My daughters bagel, that I did not order extra cream cheese on, was overloaded with a definitely not fresh strawberry cream cheese, which she spit out immediately after getting a mouthful of gummy freeze dried strawberries. I guess they were trying to get rid of it. I'd say do better, but why bother. No bagels in this city will ever compare to New York.

I go out of my way for these bagels! Pumpernickel everything? Yes, please! Also love the egg everything bagel that they do on the weekends. The amount of cream cheese they give is very much appreciated!!! They do monthly cream cheese and bagel flavors that are always yummy.

This place was great! I love that the bagels are made fresh in house. I got the everything bagel with the veggie cream cheese as well as the cinnamon raisin bagel with the blueberry cream cheese and both were AMAZING! They also have a cute little outside seating area and although today was too cold we’ll definitely be checking it out in the spring. This place was totally worth checking out.

Bart’s is the best! Delicious bagels, sandwiches, spreads, and side options. Their south Philly store features a nice, open entryway with a big menu on the side listing all their current bagel types. Sadly, their everything egg bagels were sold out because of the current eggsanity happening here in the US. Instead, I got a sausage, egg, and cheddar sandwich on their weekly special of a garlic-oregano bagel. It was delicious! I also ordered a hashbrown and what turned out to be one of the most delicious brown butter chocolate chip cookies I’ve ever had! Highly recommend! The outside also featured a nice patio sitting area, but it was a bit too cold and windy to enjoy it. Everyone at the store was delightful and helpful with all my questions. Can’t wait to go back again!
